It's fun to grow things from seed. It creates a little more anxiety, but it's a little more satisfying too. I do have veggies that I bought as plants, so not everything is from seed.

@Adele--oh no! We've had a few tomatoes and peppers succumb to blossom end rot. We put eggshells in the pots to help prevent that (added calcium to the soil).

@Janet--let us know how your tomato harvest looks too! The Black Krims weren't that salty, not to me anyway. They tasted like regular old tomatoes, LOL.

@Deb--thank you, and good luck trying new varieties. That's the second mention of Purple Cherokees. NOw I have to try those next year!Bumble Lush Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15729677514605178020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7582305140985096454.post-76712269747606199782011-08-08T01:18:33.550-04:002011-08-08T01:18:33.550-04:00I love the look of these tomatoes! Ours are only starting to colour up now. Do let us know what they taste like and how big the final crop is.Janethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06999513105724635810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7582305140985096454.post-62816276714714206212011-08-07T20:41:36.190-04:002011-08-07T20:41:36.190-04:00Wow, those look great!
