Feels Like Spring

{sunflower garden}

Unseasonably warm temperatures have me thinking about spring. It's supposed to be as warm as 60F here today! Thought I'd share a few spring/summer-like pictures I found while wasting time on Pinterest.

Happy Weekend!

  2. Oh, pictures of perfect gardens make me wonder what I'm doing wrong! But, what a wonderful thing to work toward!

  3. that top garden is too perfect! gorgeous to look at but i really prefer messy gardens. it's unseasonably warm here, too. the local skiers and snowboarders are pissed because their mountains have no snow, it's pretty much the worst ski season in anyone's memory. i don't mind the lack of snow but i'm not ready for spring...the garden bug hasn't bitten me just yet.

  4. @Holley and Emily--yes, I think a messy garden is more realistic, and I don't think having a messy garden means you're doing anything wrong. I don't even want to think about snow. Maybe just an inch or two. People can't drive here in the snow and the Metro system can't seem to handle the cold either.

  5. Thanks for visiting and responding to my questions about doing garden projects.

    My greenhouse is 10x12', one of the least expensive available. Assembly, wiring and plumbing was DIY work, but we thrive here on work projects.

    Isn't Pinterest fun? I was a Googler before, but Pinterest gives you a storage for all those pics of interest.

  6. It's hard not to think of spring with the warm weather! I want to start cutting back my garden, but I know it's not a good idea now.

  7. @NellJean--yes, Pinterest is great. I don't have to bookmark a bunch of random links anymore.

    @GirlSprout--I need to cut back some ivy in my garden too, and I was so tempted to do it while it was warm, but I know it's not a good time either.

  8. It's so tempting to start working in the garden with these incredible temps but I have a feeling that since we're in a La Nina weather year we'll get slammed with ice/snow come Feb. Thanks for the info about Patio Princess. It sounds perfect!
